About the role
We are seeking a passionate KS2 (Year 4) teacher to join a vibrant primary school in Newham from September 2026. The school is rated "Good" by Ofsted and prides itself on outstanding behaviour, safety and an inclusive community.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging KS2 curriculum for Year 4 pupils.
- Assess student progress and provide targeted feedback.
- Maintain a safe, supportive and well‑managed classroom environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents and senior leadership to enhance learning outcomes.
- Contribute to whole‑school initiatives and extracurricular activities.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a PGCE.
- Strong academic record and proven success in a KS2 setting.
- Creative, adaptable and resource‑ful teaching style.
- Excellent communication skills with children, parents and staff.
