KS2 Primary Teacher (Part‑time, Fixed‑term)

About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic KS2 Class Teacher for a wonderful primary school in the South Lakes area. This part‑time, fixed‑term position offers the chance to deliver high‑quality, inclusive education to children aged 7‑11 and to contribute to the wider life of the school.
Key responsibilities
- Take responsibility for a class, planning and delivering engaging lessons aligned with the National Curriculum.
- Assess and monitor pupil progress, ensuring every child reaches their full potential.
- Lead subject areas to support curriculum delivery (excluding Early Career Teachers).
- Participate in enrichment activities, school events, and broader initiatives.
- Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and leadership to maintain high teaching standards.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Experience teaching within Key Stage 2.
- Demonstrated excellent classroom practice and high expectations for all pupils.
- Strong organisational and communication abilities.
- Dedicated, adaptable and committed to continuous professional development.
