KS2 SEN Teaching Assistant – Camden Primary School

About the role

A friendly, inclusive primary school in Camden is seeking a dedicated KS2 SEN Teaching Assistant to support three pupils with mild learning needs. The role runs term‑time only, full‑time, from September 2026, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am‑4:00 pm.

Key responsibilities

• Provide one‑to‑one and small‑group academic support to three KS2 pupils.
• Help pupils stay engaged and access the mainstream curriculum throughout the school day.
• Collaborate closely with the class teacher to monitor progress and adapt interventions.
• Maintain accurate records of pupil achievement and support activities.
• Contribute to a positive, inclusive classroom environment.

Required profile

• Previous experience supporting pupils with special educational needs.
• Confidence delivering small‑group and individual interventions.
• Patience, positivity and an encouraging attitude.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a teaching team.
