About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic KS2 Supply Teacher to join our network of primary schools across Croydon on a temporary, long‑term basis. You will step in for absent teachers, ensuring continuity of learning and a positive classroom atmosphere.

Key responsibilities

Deliver pre‑planned lessons and maintain daily routines in the teacher’s absence.
Manage classroom behaviour and create a safe, respectful learning environment.
Adapt quickly to different school settings, building rapport with pupils and staff.
Assess pupil progress, provide feedback and support during short‑term placements.

Required profile

Qualified with PGCE, QTS, or HLTA Level 4.
Experience working with primary‑school children.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Flexibility to work on short notice and adapt to varied environments.
