About the role
Prospero Teaching is seeking a qualified KS2 Teacher to join a primary school in Grays, Essex. This full‑time, temporary position runs from September 2026 to July 2027 and offers a daily rate of £150‑£190.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver the Key Stage 2 curriculum across core subjects.
- Provide tailored support for pupils with special educational needs (SEN).
- Maintain effective classroom management and address challenging behaviour.
- Collaborate with senior staff to monitor pupil progress and adapt teaching strategies.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in England.
- Demonstrated experience working with SEN pupils.
- Ability to manage a classroom and handle challenging behaviour.
- Right to work in the UK and an enhanced DBS (child‑barred) certificate.
- Two professional child‑related references.
