About the role

Reed Education is seeking a dedicated KS2 Teacher to join a vibrant primary school in Brighton. This full‑time, permanent position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on young learners while working in a supportive, nurturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging KS2 lessons aligned with curriculum standards.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and tailored support.
• Create a positive, stimulating classroom environment that fosters enthusiasm for learning.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents and the wider school community to support student achievement.
• Participate in staff meetings, training sessions and school events.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Proven experience teaching KS2 or in a similar primary teaching role.
• Strong understanding of the KS2 curriculum and effective teaching methodologies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to engage young learners.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development.
