KS2 Teacher

About the role

A nurturing primary school in Southwark is seeking a KS2 Teacher to start in September 2026. The role involves delivering the national curriculum in a safe, inclusive environment that promotes academic achievement, creativity and personal growth.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom where all pupils can succeed.
• Monitor and assess pupil progress to ensure strong outcomes.
• Maintain high expectations for behaviour and learning.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff and school leadership.
• Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and carers.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent qualification.
• Experience as a KS1/KS2 teacher or in a similar role.
• Strong subject and curriculum knowledge relevant to the role.
• Enhanced DBS certificate with the Update Service.
• Right to work in the UK.
