About the role
Hays is partnering with several welcoming primary schools in Dover to recruit enthusiastic Key Stage 2 (KS2) teachers. The positions are open to early‑career teachers and experienced professionals who are passionate about guiding pupils through this pivotal stage of their education.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver the KS2 curriculum with a strong focus on core English and Mathematics.
- Create and maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages confidence and independence.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively to support pupil progress.
- Collaborate with leadership teams and fellow staff to enhance the learning experience.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – candidates without QTS are also encouraged to apply.
- Experience teaching within Key Stage 2.
- Flexible, enthusiastic and proactive approach to teaching.
- Strong classroom management skills and a commitment to high expectations for all students.
