KS2 Teacher – PPA Cover (Temporary Full‑Time)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced KS2 teacher to provide PPA cover in a primary school in Chesham, Buckinghamshire. The role starts in September and is full‑time temporary, focusing on delivering pre‑planned lessons without the need for planning, marking or long‑term assessment responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging, pre‑planned lessons across Key Stage 2 (excluding Year 6).
• Maintain excellent classroom behaviour and a positive learning environment.
• Support pupils to make good progress during lessons.
• Provide brief handover notes where appropriate.
• Collaborate closely with year‑group colleagues.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience teaching KS2.
• Confidence delivering pre‑planned lessons.
• Strong behaviour management skills.
• Ability to quickly establish positive classroom relationships.
