KS2 Teacher – Primary School (Full-time/Contract)

About the role

As a KS2 Teacher you will deliver engaging and challenging lessons that inspire pupils to achieve their full potential, creating a positive and inclusive learning environment while covering the Key Stage 2 National Curriculum.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the KS2 curriculum.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
• Assess, monitor, and report on pupils' progress and attainment.
• Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with SEND and EAL.
• Prepare pupils for statutory assessments, including SATs where appropriate.
• Foster positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
• Contribute to curriculum planning and wider school initiatives.
• Uphold safeguarding procedures and promote the wellbeing of all pupils.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 2 (ECTs are welcome to apply).
• Strong knowledge of the KS2 National Curriculum.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• Passion for delivering engaging and inspiring learning experiences.
• Commitment to high standards of teaching and pupil achievement.
• A positive, adaptable, and collaborative approach to teaching and learning.
• Dedication to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
