KS2 Teacher – Primary Schools in Margate

About the role

Primary schools across Margate are seeking enthusiastic Key Stage 2 teachers to join their teams. You will deliver a structured KS2 curriculum, support pupils as they build confidence and independence, and help prepare them for secondary education.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in core subjects such as reading, writing and maths.
• Assess pupil progress and adapt teaching strategies to meet individual needs.
• Foster an inclusive classroom environment that promotes wellbeing and resilience.
• Collaborate with staff teams to share best practice and contribute to school initiatives.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with parents and guardians.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or willingness to obtain it.
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 2.
• Positive, adaptable and enthusiastic approach to teaching.
• Strong classroom practice focused on pupil progress.
• Commitment to high standards, inclusion and supporting all learners.

Required skills

• Knowledge of KS2 reading, writing and maths curricula.
• Ability to differentiate instruction and use assessment data.
