About the role
We are seeking a dedicated L3 Early Years Practitioner to join the nursery of a primary school in Wigan on a full‑time, term‑time basis. You will work directly with children aged 2‑4, delivering a blend of structured and play‑based activities that support early communication, literacy, numeracy and physical development.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver age‑appropriate learning experiences in line with the EYFS framework.
- Support daily routines such as settling, toileting, transitions and snack times.
- Collaborate with early‑years colleagues to ensure consistent practice and a safe, nurturing environment.
- Provide additional support for children with special educational needs and disabilities.
- Maintain accurate records of children’s progress and wellbeing.
Required profile
- Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential).
- Paediatric first‑aid training (essential).
- Experience in early years settings (strongly preferred).
- Familiarity with WELLCOMM delivery (desirable).
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting child wellbeing.
- Availability to work term‑time only.
