L3 Technical Operator - Kitt Green

About the role

Kraft Heinz is hiring an L3 Technical Operator for its Kitt Green site in Wigan. The role covers routine checks and inspections of equipment, troubleshooting technical faults, repairs and predictive maintenance, while ensuring safety protocols and health and safety regulations are followed.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out routine checks and inspections to identify and diagnose technical faults, and identify root causes and develop solutions
• Replace faulty parts, adjust settings or make other changes to equipment, and run tests to confirm problems are resolved
• Conduct predictive maintenance such as vibration analysis and oil analysis
• Monitor equipment so it can be repaired and maintained, and process and document all technical issues
• Identify unsafe conditions and take corrective action, and carry out regular safety audits and risk assessments
• Respond promptly to reactive maintenance requests and follow safety protocols when operating equipment
• Attend and take part in team meetings

Required profile

• Minimum of 5 GCSEs at grades A-C including Mathematics, English Language and Double Science; Engineering and Triple Science preferred
• L3 Operator qualification desirable
• Strong communication skills, excellent technical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• A 'can do' attitude
