Laboratory Support Associate

About the role

Our client, a global provider of scientific solutions, is seeking a proactive Laboratory Support Associate for an Advanced Materials Innovation Laboratory. You will help maintain a specialised cleanroom environment, support research teams, and ensure safe, efficient laboratory operations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare laboratory spaces for experiments, including cleanroom set‑up and decontamination.
• Manage chemicals, consumables, and specialty gases in compliance with COSHH and safety regulations.
• Maintain inventory, stock control, and LIMS records for all materials and equipment.
• Support the operation of CVD, PVD and ALD systems where required.
• Handle nanomaterials, engineered particles, cryogenic liquids and laboratory waste safely.
• Assist with facility maintenance, health and safety checks, and cleanroom standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in laboratory support, technician or facilities roles within a cleanroom, semiconductor or advanced materials setting.
• Strong organisational and communication abilities with a hands‑on, proactive approach.
