Laboratory Support Coordinator

About the role

We are looking for a Laboratory Support Coordinator to provide on‑site technical and application support to three hospitals across Devon. The role lasts 12 months and involves ensuring laboratory equipment operates smoothly after installation, directly contributing to patient care.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver frontline customer support for a range of analytical and IVD systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues to minimise unplanned equipment downtime.
• Provide application and IT support tailored to laboratory workflows.
• Conduct training sessions for laboratory staff on equipment use and best practices.
• Collaborate with hospital and internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery.

Required profile

• Degree (BSc) in Biomedical Science or equivalent experience.
• Current knowledge of the IVD industry and diagnostic laboratory environments.
• Proven experience delivering support in a hospital laboratory or similar setting.
• Strong problem‑solving ability under pressure.
• Full UK driving licence.
