Laboratory Support (Part-Time)

About the role

We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Laboratory Support professional to join a small team on a temporary, part‑time basis in Warrington. The role provides essential assistance to keep the laboratory clean, organised and fully stocked, supporting day‑to‑day operations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the laboratory environment.
• Wash, sterilise and manage glassware and laboratory equipment.
• Store chemicals and materials safely according to regulations.
• Support stock control, including ordering of consumables.
• Assist with general housekeeping and laboratory organisation.

Required profile

• Previous experience working in a laboratory setting.
• Understanding of laboratory health and safety procedures.
• Ability to follow established policies and practices.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Reliable, proactive and capable of working independently.
• Desirable: scientific background in chemistry, biology or related field; experience handling samples or preparing solutions.
