Laboratory Technician – Food Analysis (Full‑time)

About the role
ALS is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join its Trowbridge site, supporting the testing of finished food products and ingredients. The role works a Monday‑to‑Friday shift (12:30 pm‑9 pm) and offers a permanent, full‑time contract.
Key responsibilities
- Perform analytical tests on food products and ingredients according to documented methodologies.
- Follow all standard operating procedures to maximise efficiency.
- Carry out daily quality‑control checks and equipment calibrations.
- Maintain a clean and tidy workstation.
- Adhere to the site’s Quality Management System, health and safety protocols, and record‑keeping requirements.
Required profile
- Previous experience in a fast‑paced environment.
- Ability to read, understand and accurately implement instructions.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Keen eye for detail and strong time‑management abilities.
- Methodical approach to work.
