Laboratory Technician – Oxford (Full‑time/Part‑time/Contract)

About the role

We are seeking a Laboratory Technician to join a globally recognised scientific manufacturing organisation in Oxfordshire. The role offers hands‑on experience supporting sample preparation, testing and laboratory operations within a commercial environment.

Key responsibilities

• Handle, prepare and test samples safely and efficiently.
• Blend samples and support analytical testing activities.
• Maintain laboratory stock, storage records and organise shipments.
• Ensure the laboratory complies with high safety and quality standards.
• Collaborate with scientists, technicians and wider technical teams to keep daily operations running smoothly.

Required profile

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Chemistry, Applied Chemistry or a related scientific discipline.
• Previous laboratory experience (industry, university placement or academic studies) is advantageous.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
• Right to work in the UK for the duration of the contract (no visa sponsorship).
