Labourer – Construction & Landscaping Support

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Labourer to join our team in Morden, supporting a variety of construction, gardening and maintenance projects. This paid, full‑time position offers hands‑on experience across multiple trades and the chance to develop practical skills in a supportive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with landscape maintenance – planting, pruning and turf care.
• Operate hand tools, power tools and gardening equipment safely.
• Support excavation work using excavators and related machinery.
• Install and maintain irrigation systems.
• Carry out site clearance, debris removal and material organisation.
• Help with basic construction tasks such as mixing materials or setting foundations.
• Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment.

Required profile

• Interest or experience in gardening, horticulture or landscape maintenance.
• Good physical fitness for lifting, digging and outdoor work.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in varied weather conditions.
• Organised, proactive and eager to learn new skills.
