Labourer – Full‑time Contractor

About the role

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Labourer to support operational and maintenance teams across various sites and public areas. This physically demanding role involves working outdoors and assisting with a range of manual tasks, helping to keep environments safe, clean and well presented for residents and visitors.

Key responsibilities

• Carrying out general labouring duties
• Assisting tradespeople and maintenance teams as required
• Loading, unloading and moving materials and equipment
• Site clearance and keeping work areas clean and tidy
• Supporting maintenance, environmental and improvement projects
• Following health and safety procedures at all times
• Reporting hazards, defects and safety concerns
• Using tools and equipment safely and correctly
• Working as part of a team to complete tasks efficiently

Required profile

• Reliable, punctual and hardworking
• Able to carry out physically demanding work
• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Good understanding of health and safety practices
• Full UK Driving Licence preferred but not essential
• Previous labouring, construction, grounds maintenance or similar experience advantageous
