Land Manager

About the role

Miller Homes is seeking a Land Manager to join its expanding South West Land team. Based in Bristol, you will be responsible for identifying, evaluating and securing land opportunities that support the company’s growth objectives across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Identify on‑ and off‑market land opportunities that meet the company’s evolving criteria.
• Assess potential sites, including completing or reviewing land appraisals to determine appropriate values.
• Prepare and process offers in collaboration with internal colleagues and external parties.
• Maintain formal reporting procedures as directed by the business.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of legal, technical and planning matters related to land acquisition.
• Proven experience in land acquisition, preferably within a private house‑building environment.
• Numerate and comfortable working with land appraisal systems and budgeting tools.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a multidisciplinary team.
