Landing Gear AI & Data Analytics Internship (12.5 months)

About the role

This 12.5‑month placement in Airbus’ Landing Gear Engineering team combines AI, data analytics and full‑stack development. You will work on real‑world projects that support sustainable aircraft design while gaining mentorship from senior engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and integrate AI models into scalable software solutions.
• Build Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines and explore Agentic AI workflows.
• Deploy and manage applications on Google Cloud Platform.
• Contribute to front‑end and back‑end development of data‑intensive applications.
• Participate in team meetings, code reviews and architecture brainstorming sessions.

Required profile

• Undergraduate status for the full placement duration, with graduation date provided.
• Degree studies in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Data Science or Analytics.
• Strong willingness to learn, proactive mindset and problem‑solving attitude.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of Python (desirable).
• Familiarity with full‑stack concepts such as HTML/CSS, JavaScript and basic databases.
