Laser Operator – Heavy Mild Steel

About the role

Key responsibilities

• Operate laser cutting machines to process heavy mild steel components.
• Follow standard work procedures and safety protocols at all times.
• Perform manual lifting as required and maintain a clean work area.
• Work assigned shifts (day, afternoon, or night) and record production data.
• Participate in overtime work to maximise earnings.

Required profile

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with modern manufacturing practices and standard operating procedures.
• Strong safety awareness and adherence to PPE requirements.
• Previous experience operating laser machines for heavy mild steel cutting.
• Relevant NVQ Level 3 qualification.
