About the role

Join the award‑winning team at Astbury Manor Care Home in Berkshire as a Laundry Assistant. You will work alongside the Head Housekeeper to deliver a high‑quality laundering service that supports the overall hospitality function and enhances residents' daily lives.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out all laundering duties in line with wash guide instructions.
• Handle a wide range of textiles, ensuring proper use of cleaning materials and equipment.
• Maintain safe working practices, especially when moving and handling loads, by assessing risks for yourself, residents, visitors and colleagues.
• Support the housekeeping team by keeping laundry areas clean, organised and well‑presented.
• Follow reasonable work instructions promptly and contribute positively to team dynamics.

Required profile
