Lead Architect – Automotive AI Cockpit

About the role
Bosch is looking for a Lead Architect to shape the next generation of AI‑powered smart cockpit solutions for automotive applications. You will define the technical vision, drive architecture decisions, and guide cross‑functional teams to deliver a proactive, personalized in‑vehicle experience.
Key responsibilities
- Define and own end‑to‑end architecture for AI‑driven smart cockpit systems across hardware, middleware, and application layers.
- Lead design and implementation of AI/ML pipelines, model optimization, deployment, and lifecycle management.
- Architect multi‑model/LLM orchestration and on‑device model adaptation for edge automotive deployment.
- Optimize edge AI execution on CPU/GPU/NPU SoCs (quantization, pruning, latency, power).
- Design hybrid edge‑cloud architectures for personalization and continuous learning.
- Integrate multimodal AI capabilities (voice, vision, sensor fusion) under real‑time and safety‑critical constraints.
- Establish data pipelines, telemetry, and feedback loops for continuous model validation and monitoring.
- Define AI evaluation and observability framework tied to release readiness.
- Drive technical program execution, including planning, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
Required profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in AI/ML, embedded systems, or automotive software development.
- Proven track record leading complex technical projects and cross‑functional teams.
Required skills
- AI/ML pipeline development and model optimization.
- Large language model (LLM) orchestration and on‑device adaptation.
- GPU, NPU, and SoC programming for edge deployment.
- Quantization, pruning, and performance tuning for real‑time systems.
- Hybrid edge‑cloud architecture design.
- Multimodal AI integration (voice, vision, sensor fusion).
- Data pipeline and telemetry implementation.
- Model monitoring, observability, and continuous validation.
