Lead Architect – Enterprise Architecture

About the role

Harvey Nash is partnering with a major UK infrastructure organisation to lead a multi‑year transformation. As Lead Architect you will define the future‑state architecture, create a pragmatic roadmap and guide a team of domain and solution architects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of architecture specialists, supporting business leaders and delivery teams.
• Establish architectural processes, standards and governance to drive high‑quality outcomes.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to shape enterprise strategy and investment planning.
• Maintain oversight of applications, data and infrastructure architecture, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
• Build and mature a business architecture capability and increase overall EA maturity.
• Develop multi‑year architectural roadmaps aligned with business priorities and budget cycles.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading and developing teams of architects or domain experts in complex environments.
• Broad architectural background covering at least three disciplines (e.g., business, data, solution, technical).
• Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence senior leadership.
