Join the Quality and Practice team at Middlesbrough Council in a pivotal role designed to amplify the voices of carers and those with lived experience. As the Carers & Co‑production Practice Development Lead, you will be the driving force behind a culture of inclusivity, ensuring that service users are not just recipients of care, but active architects of the support they receive.

Missions principales

  • Implement and lead the co-production approach within adult social care services to ensure meaningful engagement with carers.
  • Work directly with carers, community groups, and stakeholders to integrate lived experience into service design.
  • Chair the 'Making It Real' Board, fostering collaborative decision-making and accountability.
  • Consolidate and strengthen key partnerships across the local authority and community sectors.
  • Translate research findings and qualitative insights into tangible service improvements and policy innovations.
  • Influence systemic strategies and social care policies to create a more responsive and inclusive environment.

Profil recherché

  • Proven experience in social care, community engagement, or practice development.
  • Demonstrated expertise in co-production methodologies and inclusive practice.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to chair boards and influence high-level stakeholders.
  • Exceptional communication skills, capable of bridging the gap between service users and policymakers.
  • A passion for social justice and empowering vulnerable populations.
