Lead Creative Gift Designer

About the role

Lead Designer responsible for driving the creative development of the Gifts category, partnering with the Category Lead to shape vision, develop inspiring collections and translate strategic direction into compelling design. The role leads projects, artist partnerships, packaging innovation and global collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Shape category vision with the Creative Lead, translating market insights and cultural trends into commercially viable collection concepts.
• Create mood boards, narrative direction packs and lead inspiration trips to drive early‑stage range development.
• Provide creative direction for the Gifts category and step in for the Lead Gift Design Manager when required.
• Research gifting, design and sustainable materials, collaborating with the Packaging Team to develop innovative formats and concepts.
• Build and nurture relationships with external artists, agencies and creative communities, managing licensing, copyright and sample coordination.
• Act as the creative bridge for international teams, delivering guidance, inspiration packs and shared design direction.
• Write clear briefs, direct designers, approve small creative budgets and represent the Gifts category at events and showcases.
