Lead Creative SEND Class – Unqualified Teacher/HLTA

About the role

We are looking for an unqualified teacher or experienced HLTA to lead a small, specialist SEND class in a forward‑thinking Creative Academy in North West London. This full‑time, fixed‑term position starts in September 2025 and offers the chance to own a classroom that blends creativity with structured learning.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a small SEND class supporting pupils with ASD, SEMH and communication difficulties.
• Plan and deliver engaging, creative lessons tailored to individual needs.
• Collaborate closely with SENCOs, therapists and a dedicated support team.
• Foster independence, confidence and a love of learning in each child.

Required profile

• Unqualified teacher or HLTA with strong SEND experience.
• Excellent behaviour management and classroom leadership skills.
• Creative, child‑centred approach with high energy and caring attitude.
• Desire to progress in a supportive, dynamic school environment.
