Lead Data Reporting Analyst - Investment Management

About the role

We are looking for a Lead Data Reporting Analyst to join a major data transformation programme for a global investment and asset management organisation. The role combines analytical expertise with stakeholder engagement to migrate legacy reporting platforms to Snowflake Data Marts.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the analysis and delivery of reporting and data requirements across the workstream.
• Partner with business stakeholders, SMEs, technology teams and delivery leads to define reporting needs and data solutions.
• Facilitate workshops to capture, challenge and document business and data requirements.
• Analyse complex data flows, data lineage and mappings to support reporting solutions.
• Produce high‑quality artefacts such as user stories, process flows, data mappings and functional specifications.
• Investigate data quality issues, perform root‑cause analysis and support UAT.
• Support planning, estimation and delivery to ensure successful migration to Snowflake.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Lead Data Reporting Analyst, Senior Data Analyst or a hybrid Data Analyst/Business Analyst.
• Strong background delivering data and reporting projects within Asset Management or Financial Services.
• Excellent requirements‑gathering and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to lead workshops and communicate with both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
