Lead Digital Designer

About the role

We are seeking a Lead Digital Designer to join our UX & Design team in London. This senior, hands‑on position will drive the design of large‑scale websites, digital platforms and complex digital experiences from brief through launch, combining visual and interaction design with strategic thinking.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design direction for websites, platforms and other digital experiences, translating client objectives and technical constraints into clear visual concepts.
• Create responsive layouts, interaction patterns, prototypes and design documentation using Figma.
• Build and maintain scalable design systems, component libraries and templates.
• Present work to clients and senior stakeholders, run workshops and manage feedback to reach decisions.
• Provide mentorship, feedback and guidance to other designers and contribute to new‑business pitches.

Required profile

• 6+ years of experience in digital, visual or interaction design, preferably within an agency or consultancy.
• Strong portfolio showcasing large‑scale websites or complex multi‑page digital experiences.
• Proven ability to translate brand identities into digital experiences across templates, components and breakpoints.
• Experience presenting to clients, facilitating workshops and mentoring junior designers.

Required skills

• Advanced Figma proficiency, including components, variants, variables, libraries and prototyping.
• Experience with enterprise CMS platforms such as Sitecore, Adobe Experience Manager, WordPress or HubSpot.
• Knowledge of design tokens, component governance and modular content models.
• Motion design, animation and interaction prototyping capabilities.
