Lead Door Engineer – £40k‑£46k + Overtime

About the role

We are seeking a Lead Door Engineer to join a rapidly expanding service business in the Yorkshire and Humberside region. The role offers a stable Monday‑Friday schedule, no on‑call duties, and strong overtime potential, with clear pathways for training and progression.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out service, maintenance, repair and installation of a variety of door systems across a regional patch.
• Diagnose faults, replace components and ensure all work complies with health and safety standards.
• Provide technical advice to customers and junior engineers on site.
• Maintain accurate service records and complete required paperwork.

Required profile

• Experienced Door Engineer from any background (industrial, automatic, roller shutter, sectional, loading bay, commercial or similar).
• Looking for a permanent, Monday‑Friday role with no on‑call requirements.
• Motivated to develop skills through further training and long‑term career progression.
