Lead Electrician – Senior Electrical Projects

About the role

We are seeking a Lead Electrician to oversee and manage electrical projects across Oxfordshire, delivering both domestic and commercial services. The successful candidate will supervise a team of electricians, ensure compliance with plans and regulations, and drive project delivery from start to finish.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and lead electricians on site.
• Study plans and diagrams to prepare for each project.
• Carry out inspection, testing and certification of electrical work.
• Manage day‑to‑day running of projects of various sizes.
• Deliver domestic services such as kitchen electrics, bathroom rewiring, water safety, and smart home heating.
• Deliver commercial services including fire alarms, LED panel lighting, high‑bay sports lighting, and security systems.
• Install and maintain solar PV, battery storage and EV charge points.

Required profile

• Full UK driving licence.
• NVQ/City & Guilds (or equivalent) in electrical installation.
• Proven experience in testing and inspection of electrical systems.
• Experience supervising electricians and managing electrical projects.
