Lead Engineer

About the role

The Lead Engineer will head the engineering scope for large projects within Hilti’s Regional PMO, ensuring high‑quality solutions are delivered on time and within budget across Northern Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of Design Engineers to meet technical objectives, scope, budget and schedule.
• Optimize designs in line with codes, standards and customer requirements.
• Coordinate with project team members to resolve technical issues and ensure on‑time delivery of services and hardware.
• Provide technical advisory support to customers and their discipline specialists.
• Support Project Management in developing project frameworks, assessing scope feasibility and time estimates.

Required profile

• Engineering degree (Civil, Mechanical, Structural or related) with proven experience delivering high‑quality engineering solutions.
• Strong problem‑solving ability and a structured, self‑driven approach.
• Effective leadership and collaboration across functions, with commercial awareness and risk‑management capability.
• Experience in project planning and delivery in fast‑paced, high‑pressure environments.
