Lead Engineer – Remote Support & Team Lead

About the role

We are seeking a technically‑minded Lead Engineer to head a team of Remote Support Engineers. You will provide second‑line mechanical and electrical fault diagnosis, support field engineers, and drive innovation through digital tools and AI across a nationwide operation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop a team of Remote Support Engineers.
• Perform expert remote fault diagnosis on mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Coordinate with field engineers to deliver fast, effective resolutions.
• Design, improve and maintain internal digital tools, dashboards and support processes.
• Analyse service performance data and identify continuous‑improvement opportunities.

Required profile

• Strong background in mechanical and electrical fault‑finding.
• Experience in technical support, field service or engineering environments.
• Demonstrated leadership or mentoring capability, or readiness to step into a senior role.
• Comfortable with IT tools, automation and emerging AI technologies.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities.
