Lead Full Stack Software Developer

About the role

We are partnering with a fast‑growing UK SaaS company that creates data‑driven digital products for commercial teams. As a Lead Full Stack Software Developer you will provide hands‑on technical leadership, shaping architecture and delivering customer‑facing platforms from concept to production.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical delivery for a high‑performing squad of 10+ engineers.
• Contribute to solution design, system architecture and domain modelling.
• Build proof‑of‑concepts and spike complex areas of work.
• Break down requirements into epics and user stories with product managers.
• Develop and ship production‑ready code across the full stack.
• Maintain high standards of quality, performance, security and maintainability.
• Support and improve live systems after deployment.
• Influence tooling, best practices and technical direction across engineering.

Required profile

• 10+ years of full‑stack development experience.
• 5+ years of JavaScript and TypeScript experience.
• Strong background in system design and scalable SaaS architectures.
• Clean‑code mindset (SOLID principles, design patterns, testable code).
• Experience with mature CI/CD and continuous deployment pipelines.
• Commercial mindset and excellent collaboration with stakeholders.
• Interest in using AI to accelerate development.
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent real‑world experience.
