Lead Full Stack Software Developer (Technical Lead)

About the role

We are partnering with a fast‑growing UK SaaS company to find a Lead Full Stack Software Developer. In this hands‑on technical leadership role you will shape and deliver the next generation of customer‑facing platforms, working from design through to production.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical delivery for a high‑performing development squad of 10+ engineers.
• Contribute to solution design, system architecture and domain modelling.
• Build proof‑of‑concepts and spike complex or uncertain areas.
• Break down requirements into epics and user stories with product managers.
• Develop and deliver production‑ready code across the full stack.
• Ensure quality, maintainability, performance and security of the platform.
• Support and improve live systems after deployment.
• Influence technical direction, tooling and best practices across engineering.

Required profile

• 10+ years of full‑stack development experience.
• 5+ years of JavaScript and TypeScript experience.
• Strong background in system design and scalable architectures.
• Experience building large, production SaaS platforms.
• Clean‑code mindset (SOLID principles, design patterns, testable code).
• Experience with mature CI/CD and continuous deployment pipelines.
• Commercial mindset and excellent collaboration skills.
• Interest in using AI to accelerate software development.
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent real‑world experience.
