Lead Gardener

About the role

Our client is seeking experienced Lead Gardener/Drivers to maintain a large public park in Enfield. This temporary position offers the chance to work with a dedicated Parks Maintenance team and may lead to a permanent role for the right candidate.

Key responsibilities

• Operate ride‑on mowers, strimmers, leaf blowers and hedge cutters.
• Perform routine tasks such as mowing, leaf blowing, litter picking, bin emptying and occasional toilet cleaning.
• Manage green spaces, prune hedges and bushes, and carry out plant identification and weed control.
• Maintain accurate paperwork both by hand and digitally.
• Progress to using more complex machinery as experience and qualifications develop.

Required profile

• Previous experience in park management, gardening or landscape gardening.
• Ability to work punctual, diligent, hard‑working and as part of a team.
• Own steel‑toe capped boots.
• Good written and verbal English.
