Lead Occupational Health Advisor (Service Manager)

About the role
This position leads the Occupational Health (OH) advisory team within a fast‑paced, multi‑sector environment. You will combine clinical expertise with operational oversight, ensuring high‑quality OH assessments and supporting clients to improve employee attendance and performance.
Key responsibilities
- Overall responsibility for day‑to‑day running and support of OH Advisers, reporting to the OH Manager.
- Ensure clinical service delivery meets departmental KPIs and SLAs.
- Produce daily, weekly and monthly performance reports for senior management.
- Manage assessment workflow to avoid delays and deliver high‑quality follow‑up reports within SLA.
- Identify training needs, design and deliver induction and ongoing clinical training.
- Provide risk, safeguarding and clinical query escalation support in line with regulatory and accreditation standards.
Required profile
- Professional clinical background in occupational health with solid knowledge of assessment protocols.
- Management experience overseeing KPIs, SLAs and team performance.
- Ability to conduct a minimum of 10 clinical appointments per week.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Experience delivering training and audits.
