Lead Quality Engineer – CNC, Wood, Joinery & Electronics

About the role

This is a permanent, full‑time position based in Stroud, offering the chance to become the on‑site champion of quality across CNC, wood, joinery and electronic manufacturing. You will receive internal training, full autonomy to improve systems and a clear pathway to senior engineering.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and drive quality systems and processes across all product lines.
• Lead internal audits, non‑conformance handling and CAPA activities.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis and implement continuous‑improvement projects.
• Provide technical training and mentor junior quality staff.

Required profile

• Proven experience in quality engineering, quality inspection or a related role.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 and QMS implementation.
• Ability to work autonomously and champion quality on‑site.
