Lead RF Engineer

About the role

Lead technically complex RF programmes across aerospace, defence and space projects, combining hands‑on engineering with senior technical leadership. You will own RF system architecture, detailed design and delivery throughout the full product lifecycle, from concept and bid support to production and in‑service support.

Key responsibilities

• Define and drive RF system architecture, cascade analysis and link‑budget calculations.
• Design, develop and verify RF circuits and subsystems for high‑reliability platforms.
• Lead a specialist RF team, providing mentorship, line‑management and technical authority.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional groups to integrate RF solutions into aerospace, defence and space platforms.
• Influence engineering strategy, tools and best practices across the programme.

Required profile

• Eligibility for full security clearance.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering or a closely related discipline.
• Extensive experience in RF and microwave engineering within aerospace, defence, space or other high‑reliability sectors.
• Proven track record of delivering complex RF projects from concept to production.
