Lead Systems Engineer / Team Lead

About the role

As a Lead Systems Engineer / Team Lead you will guide and develop a team of engineers, providing technical direction while supporting their wellbeing and career growth. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to deliver effective technical solutions and contribute to strategic project decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to less experienced engineers.
• Support team members’ wellbeing and professional development.
• Understand project scope, timelines and resource needs to drive successful delivery.
• Advise managers on team capacity, skill requirements and resourcing.
• Ensure necessary dependencies and facilities are in place for project execution.
• Prepare bid estimates and maintain schedules and budgets for ongoing projects.

Required profile

• Degree or equivalent experience in Systems Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Aerospace, Physics, Mathematics or a related field.
• Proven experience in the systems engineering domain and product lifecycle.
• Demonstrated experience leading a technical team and making managerial or technical decisions.

Required skills

• Familiarity with DOORS.
• Experience with Siemens Polarion.
• Knowledge of Enterprise Architect.
• Use of CAMEO.
• Proficiency in MATLAB.
• Proficiency in Simulink.
