Leadership & Talent Development Lead

About the role

As part of British Airways' People Directorate, you will shape leadership capability across one of the world’s most recognised airlines. Working within the Global Learning Academy, you will design and deliver learning initiatives that align with business strategy and support a culture where colleagues thrive.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Learning Business Managers and the Talent Team to identify leadership and development needs using discovery techniques.
• Design and deliver innovative learning solutions using face‑to‑face sessions, digital content, webinars and podcasts.
• Project‑manage end‑to‑end design, development and implementation of leadership and talent development programmes.
• Translate learning objectives into engaging, impactful experiences.
• Coordinate subject‑matter experts and third‑party suppliers to ensure high‑quality, on‑time delivery.
• Lead cross‑functional project teams throughout the learning design lifecycle.
• Facilitate leadership and management programmes, creating a safe, inclusive learning environment.
• Deliver “train the trainer” sessions as required.
• Identify and share best practices and emerging trends in leadership development.
• Contribute to the evolution of British Airways' learning culture and people strategy.

• Proven ability to design and facilitate engaging learning experiences that deliver measurable outcomes.
• Strong project‑management skills and experience coordinating multiple stakeholders.
