Lean Business Management Placement (12.5 months)

About the role

This 12.5‑month placement starts on 16 August 2027 in Broughton, North Wales, and focuses on Lean Business Management within Airbus' Operating System (AOS). You will work on improvement projects that support the future of wing production while developing your communication, coaching and operational skills.

Key responsibilities

• Enhance communication skills across teams.
• Apply Lean and operational management principles to daily activities.
• Coach operations and functional groups to adopt best practices.
• Participate in site projects that drive the future of wing manufacturing.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree in Business Management, Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in customer‑facing roles.
• Exposure to Lean principles or continuous‑improvement environments.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Resilience and adaptability in a fast‑paced setting.
• Coaching mindset with a willingness to develop others.
• Continuous‑improvement mindset with a drive to identify and implement enhancements.
