Learning Adviser – Early Careers

About the role

Our client, a major oil and gas operator, is looking for a Learning Adviser to lead the delivery of its early‑careers talent schemes. The role is a 12‑month PAYE contract based in London with a hybrid working model.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Early Careers Lead and Lead Recruiter with recruitment fairs and assessment centres to promote talent scheme opportunities.
• Own end‑to‑end planning and delivery of the annual graduate event, including induction, onboarding, mid‑program engagement, and graduation activities.
• Work with stakeholders to create clear, blended development frameworks for scheme participants.
• Plan graduate rotations, collaborating with Discipline Leads and Development Forums to deliver tailored development solutions.
• Maintain records of participants’ progress against agreed programme frameworks.
• Source exposure opportunities for participants and foster global connectivity through virtual interactions.
• Deliver and contribute to HR projects with decision‑making authority, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
• Create and implement feedback mechanisms for continuous improvement of Early Careers activities.
• Provide advisory support to Early Career participants and generate metrics to report progress.
• Hold decision authority for pre‑agreed areas within the Early Careers budget and perform any other reasonable duties.
