Learning & Development Facilitator – Leeds & Surrounding

About the role

As a Learning and Development Facilitator you will drive performance and quality across Avery Healthcare homes in Leeds and the surrounding area. You will deliver statutory and mandatory training, ensuring a competent, compliant team that provides exceptional care to residents.

Key responsibilities

• Lead face‑to‑face and virtual training sessions for a cluster of homes, covering statutory and mandatory topics.
• Identify learning needs using the Learning Management System (LMS) and record training activity accurately.
• Plan, design and deliver engaging induction and refresher courses.
• Assess learner knowledge, confidence and understanding throughout each session.

Required profile

• Experience in learning and development within the adult social care sector.
• Relevant adult social care qualifications and knowledge of statutory training requirements.
• Commitment to diversity, inclusion and meeting neurodiversity learning needs.
• Level 3 Award in Education and Training (or willingness to work towards it).
• Level 3 (or above) in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
• Valid UK driving licence and own transport.

Required skills

• Proficiency with a Learning Management System (LMS).
