Learning Disabilities Team Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Learning Disabilities Team Manager to lead three supported‑living services in Salford and Bolton. The role involves overseeing care for approximately nine adults with learning disabilities and complex health needs, ensuring high‑quality, person‑centred support.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day leadership to Lead Support Workers and Support Workers across three services.
• Develop, maintain and monitor service standards and person‑centred support plans.
• Conduct risk assessments, medication checks and health‑and‑safety audits to meet CQC and legislative requirements.
• Manage rosters, weekly finances and compliance reporting.
• Collaborate with other Team Managers and the Supported Living Manager to deliver consistent, high‑quality care.
• Support service users to achieve independence and positive outcomes in the community.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading a team in a health or social‑care setting.
• Understanding of learning disabilities, autism and complex health needs.
• Ability to work flexibly, including occasional out‑of‑hours checks.
• Strong communication skills with a range of stakeholders.
