Learning Mentor (Full‑time) – Plymouth

About the role
We are seeking a committed Learning Mentor to work one‑to‑one with a pupil in Plymouth. This full‑time position starts in September and offers the chance to make a lasting impact on a young person's academic and personal development.
Key responsibilities
- Provide tailored academic and emotional support to the assigned pupil.
- Collaborate with teachers and support staff to develop and implement effective learning strategies.
- Monitor the pupil’s progress and adjust approaches to meet evolving needs.
- Encourage positive behaviour and foster a love of learning.
Required profile
- Experience working with children or in a mentoring capacity is desirable.
- Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities.
- Ability to inspire, motivate and encourage young people.
- Access to a car and a valid driving licence for travel as needed.
