About the role
Prospero Teaching is looking for a Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming school in Braintree starting in September. The role involves supporting pupils academically and socially within an inclusive classroom environment.
Key responsibilities
- Provide classroom and learning support to pupils.
- Assist teachers in delivering lessons and adapting materials.
- Support pupils with additional learning needs.
- Promote a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere.
Required profile
- Experience supporting children in a UK school setting (placements accepted).
- Relevant Teaching Assistant or Learning Support qualifications (desirable).
- Up‑to‑date safeguarding training (desirable).
- Right to work in the UK and an enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain).
- Two professional child‑related references.
Required skills
What we offer
- Daily rate of £90‑£100 depending on experience.
- Full‑time hours from 08:30 to 15:45.
- Free accredited CPD courses, including safeguarding and behaviour management.
