Learning Support Assistant & Employment Coach

About the role

KM Education Recruitment is seeking a Learning Support Assistant and Employment Coach to work centre‑based in Crewe. You will help young learners (16‑19) stay engaged with their studies and secure valuable work experience placements.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with tutors to create an inclusive learning environment.
• Provide one‑to‑one support for learners with additional needs, ensuring engagement with course material.
• Build relationships with local employers and stakeholders to arrange work experience opportunities.
• Monitor learner progress during placements and address any barriers to success.
• Assist in developing creative learning resources that cater to diverse needs.

Required profile

• Functional Skills in English and Maths at Level 2.
• Experience liaising with employers to secure placements or apprenticeships.
• Understanding of challenges faced by 16‑19‑year‑olds in employment and career development.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Attention to detail and a clean UK driving licence with access to a vehicle.
